Last Year in 2024 where EVs sales touch the roof of success but there cases of bad examples of cars also went too far by monthly. The National Transportation Safety Board initiated its first electric-battery heavy truck accident investigation following the Aug. 19 wreck of a 2024 Tesla Semi that burned down after straying off Interstate 80 and striking a tree in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

The investigation of the incident includes all parties such as NTSB, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, California Highway Patrol and Tesla Inc.

The single-vehicle crash occurred at 3:A Tesla driver operated the vehicle eastbound from Livermore California toward Tesla Giga Nevada in Sparks Nevada during 3 a.m.

The driver escaped unharmed while en route to Tesla’s Nevada facility which is situated one hour from the shared border of Lake Tahoe with California and Nevada. The production facility positions itself as an operation which generates billions of cells annually while manufacturing electric motors and batteries alongside energy storage products and vehicle powertrain components.
